And both team and driver responded to the rumours in the only way they know how: by coming out fighting.

Look I am not the biggest fan of Guenther Steiner but I tried to go into this book as objective as possible. Gernerally I love the idea of how the book is build and generally the idea itself. I would LOVE to read this sort of book of any other TP just to compare how different they work.

Retailers:

I saw Toto reacting in a very emotional way,” he added. “Maybe he was under pressure for their performance at the time? Maybe he was under pressure because he promised something to someone? I don’t know. Szafnauer’s memorable “two popes” remark following his departure as Aston Martin revealed a discomfort with Lawrence Stroll’s leadership style, with the new Alpine boss putting more meat on the bone in Episode 5.

His honesty is refreshing given that almost all who work in F1 are generally subjected to toeing a PR line – but not Steiner. And although happy to criticise others, he’s certainly not above berating himself or being the butt of a joke. One cannot deny that Steiner is unapologetically himself in this book. He writes what he thinks, as controversial as things may be. And he uses the typical Steiner tone - he used the word "fok" 280 times! As fun as I see it is to make a inside DTS joke But honestly after the 5000 fok it just got annoying. Gernerally the "fun guentherism" words just got on my nerve. Written in Steiner’s voice the stylized ‘fok’ and ‘jeezos’ can become a little grating through the course of the year, but conversely it does add to the individualistic aura of the book and remind you this is Steiner and no one else. After Hamilton admitted that he “nearly just pulled in” during a very uncomfortable ride in Baku, Wolff warns his fellow team bosses are “playing a dangerous game” and that he will “come after” them if a car ends up in the wall. Fearless and candid... A gleeful guide to a bonkers sport from a loveable rogue insider.' 😂

When it wasn't race week, he sometimes talked about his past in rally. I really couldn't care less. There was too much rally talk! Drive to Survive’s fourth season, which follows the ups and downs of 2021’s racing, was released on Netflix in the past couple of weeks, and has been eagerly anticipated, not least because this past season was a humdinger. At the time of writing, five days after it came out, viewers had already screened 28 million hours of the new series, according to Netflix, and within a week it had become one of service’s top 10 TV shows in 50 countries, including the UK and Ukraine.

Nevertheless, the manufactured question mark over Perez’s future brings an interesting line from Horner: “There’s probably half the grid that would like to be in the team, whether it be Daniel Ricciardo, Lando Norris could be on the market, even Yuki [Tsunoda].”
